Background

Toronto North Probus Club, established in November 2025, reflects the Probus worldwide motto of “Fellowship, Friendship and Fun”. Our many special events, regular interest groups and monthly membership meetings provide opportunities for members to relax, laugh, learn, make new memories and, most importantly, make new friends. 

Based in North Toronto, our Probus Club celebrates life, past, present, and what’s still to come! Whether you love good conversation, great company, or trying something new, there’s always something happening for our members to experience. 

We meet regularly in both large and small groups to explore our shared interests and passions. From pickleball and hiking to lunch and dinner clubs, card games, theatre trips and many other activities, our calendar is packed with opportunities to connect and have fun. If you can dream it, chances are someone in our Club wants to do it too! 

Probus plays an important role in making retirement vibrant and fulfilling. By encouraging friendship, active lifestyles, and community involvement, our Probus Club helps turn free time into quality time. It’s about staying curious, staying connected, and staying engaged. 

At its heart, Probus is about people. Our members come from a wide range of professional backgrounds, but we all share one thing in common - a desire to enjoy life, build friendships, and keep moving forward together. Membership and Benefits Membership is open to retired or semi-retired individuals. Benefits of joining our Probus Club include staying mentally and physically active, expanding social networks, and contributing positively to society. We also offer a sense of purpose and belonging, which is vital for overall well-being in later years. 

Joining our Club 

Currently, our membership is at full capacity and our waitlist is also full. Please check our Memberships page on December 1, as we may open the waitlist at that time.
